It was an awesome experience to visit the oldest work of art, the “Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs. It was located at the municipality of Binangonan you can get there by land. There are three two-hour routes from Manila to Rizal province.
The northern route runs from Caloocan City to Marikina City and the middle route runs from EDSA to Pasig. The southern road passes through the town of Parañaque and three and a half kilometers southeast of the town of Angono.
It was a beautiful calligraphy made by the people in 300 B.C. and those arts are sculpted in a stone wall. Before seeing that work of art you must pass through a small cave.
Just a reminder, 15 years old and below are just allowed if they have an 18 years old and above guardian. There’s no entrance fee.
They put a view deck near the sculpture to protect the calligraphy and to avoid vandalism. They set a history before seeing that art. The tour guides are from national museum that are very friendly and accommodating, actually they tour and give us information about the art.

The place is eco-friendly where you could have a peaceful site seeing on those works. However, other parts of the calligraphy has faded and other stone wall are damaged because of the weather, but you can still see their beautiful artwork.
The tour guide did not mention what was the meaning of those image or letters but I think that people on that age are showing their simple life. It was a nice experience to see that master piece that I wish that other generation could still see the beauty of petroglyphs
It was an endangered site that’s why they are very careful to give the rules to the visitors. I wish that you can also see that artwork soon!
